Abdul'aziz Abubakar Yari
Alhaji Abdul'aziz Abubakar Yari (born 1968) is a Nigerian politician and cleric who was elected as a Governor of Zamfara State.[1]

Education
[change | change source]Yaris has diploma in secretarial Studies from Sokoto Polytechnic. He also attended Kebbi Polytechnic where he Graduated with Diploma in Public Administration.[2]
Political career
[change | change source]Yari began his political career in 1999 when he served as the Secretary of All Nigeria People's Party (ANPP). He was elected Chairman of ANPP Zamfara State chapter and later rose to the position of ANPP National Financial Secretary and served in this position till 2007 when he was elected as Member representing Anka/Talata Mafara Federal Constituency, and later Yar was elected Governor of Zamfara State on the party of the All Nigeria Peoples Party(ANPP).[3]
