Al Ittihad newspaper (Arabic: صحيفة الاتحاد, lit.'The Union Newspaper') is a daily newspaper in United Arab Emirates. Issued by Abu Dhabi Media Company In Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It is considered one of the first and oldest newspapers published in the United Arab Emirates. The first issue of Al Ittihad was published on 20 October 1969.

Today, nearly a hundred journalists work at the Union, distributed between Abu Dhabi and offices in Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and the rest of the emirates of the country, in addition to offices distributed in Beirut and Cairo and correspondents around the world.

The newspaper entered the Internet world as of Friday 15 March 1996 to offer its readers a new service, making it the first local newspaper to offer this service.[1]
