Amanda Edwards is an American attorney and politician. She is a former member of the City Council for the city of Houston, Texas. Edwards placed fifth in the Democratic primary for the 2020 United States Senate election in Texas.[1] She later tried to become the mayor of Houston, She dropped out of the race for mayor to run for the District 18 seat in the US House.
