Analytics is the systematic procession of data or statistics. The process of discovering, interpreting, and communicating significant patterns in data to get meaningful information.[1]

In simple language, analytics is turning raw data into useful one for making better decisions. Analytics uses the application of statistics, computer programming, and operations research to gain information from meanings of data.[2]
