Arita (有田町 Arita-chō?) is a Japanese town located in Saga on the island of Kyushu.[1]

The town is best known for producing porcelain and other ceramics.[2]

Arita is in the western part of Saga Prefecture. It is on the border with Nagasaki Prefecture.
