California Milkweed (Asclepias californica) is a species of milkweed plant. It is also known as Round-hooded Milkweed. It belongs in the subfamily Asclepiadoideae. It is native to California and Baja California. It blooms from April to July. This species is found on grassy or bushy hillsides.
