Assem Allam (Arabic: عاصم علام) (1 August 1939-3 December 2022) is an Egyptian businessman based in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

He is the owner of Allam Marine, a company that makes generators. He is also the former owner of the Championship football team, Hull City.[2]

In 2006, he was named the UK Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young.[3]
