Atom (character)

The Atom is the name of several fictional characters and superheroes owned by DC Comics. They have the power to shrink in size. The first was Albert "Al" Pratt. The most well-known character to use the name is the second version, Dr. Ray Palmer. Two later versions were Adam Cray and Dr. Ryan Choi. They are supporting characters in animated series and comics, Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

The first Atom, Al Pratt, was created by Ben Flinton and Bill O'Connor. Ray Palmer was created by Julius Schwartz, Gardner Fox and Gil Kane.
