"Baker Street" is a rock ballad. It was first done by Gerry Rafferty. The song was released in February 1978. It hit #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. It stayed at #2 for about six weeks.

The arrangement has a saxophone riff done by saxophonist Raphael Ravenscroft.

The song was named after Baker Street in London.
