Barco NV is a Belgian technology company. Barco focusing on three core markets: entertainment, enterprise, and healthcare.[2] Barco is headquartered in Kortrijk, Belgium.

The company has 400 granted patents.[3] Shares of Barco are listed on Euronext Brussels.

Barco is an acronym (Belgian American Radio Corporation).

Barco was founded in 1934 in the town of Poperinge. Founder is Lucien Depuydt. In 1989, Barco acquired EMT.[4] In 2018, Barco sold subsidiary Barco Silex.[5]
