Belvue was planned out in 1871.[4] The first post office in Belvue was created in May 1871.[5]

Belvue is at 39°12′59″N 96°10′44″W / 39.21639°N 96.17889°W / 39.21639; -96.17889 (39.216297, -96.179001). The United States Census Bureau says that the city has a total area of 0.12 square miles (0.31 km2). All of it is land.[2]

The 2020 census says that there were 177 people, 61 households, and 46 families living in Belvue. Of the households, 73.8% owned their home and 26.2% rented their home.

The median age was 31.6 years. Of the people, 85.3% were White, 0.6% were Asian, 2.3% were from some other race, and 11.9% were two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 11.9% of the people.[3][6]
