Birkenhead, New Zealand

Birkenhead is a suburb situated in the North Shore, Auckland. In the late 19th century become renowned for strawberry fields. It went from semi-rural community to be part of the city after the Aucklanh Harbour Bridge was built in 1959. It has two primary schools situated within the suburb.
