Björn Waldegård (12 November 1943 - 29 August 2014) was a Swedish rally driver. He was the winner of the inaugural World Rally Championship for drivers in 1979. His Swedish nickname was "Walle".

Waldegård died in Stockholm, Sweden from cancer, aged 70.[1]
