"Blank Space" is a 2014 song by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. The song is about the way the media sees Swift and her relationships. The song is an electropop single.[1] It has been compared to New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde's musical style.[2]

"Blank Space" was released on November 10, 2014. It received positive reviews from music critics. It reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100,[3] which made it become her second number-one single from 1989 (after "Shake It Off") and her third number-one single overall.
