Bob Jones University (BJU) is a private Protestant Christian university in Greenville, South Carolina.[1] The university was founded in 1927 by Bob Jones, Sr. (1883-1968), an evangelist. The school has around 3,000 students attending it, and there are 2,755 undergraduate students attending.[2] Until the 1970s, BJU only allowed white students to attend. Afterwards, it banned interracial dating.[3]
