Boogie Nights is a 1997 American drama movie produced, written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. It is set in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, California from the late 1970s to the early 1980s. The movie is about actors and filmmakers in pornographic movies. It stars Mark Wahlberg, Julianne Moore), Burt Reynolds (who won a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor), Don Cheadle, John C. Reilly, Philip Seymour Hoffman, William H. Macy and Heather Graham.
