Branislav Blažić

Branislav Blažić (Serbian Cyrillic: Бранислав Блажић; 1 April 1957 – 1 April 2020) was a Serbian surgeon and politician. He served many terms in the assemblies of FR Yugoslavia, Serbia and Vojvodina. He served as Minister of Environmental Protection from 1998 to 2000. He was a member of the far-right Radical Party before joining the Progressive Party in 2008. He was born in Kikinda, Vojvodina.

On 1 April 2020, during the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic, Blažić died in Belgrade of COVID-19. He was 63.[1]
