Carson, Missouri

Carson is a ghost town in Howell County, Missouri. It is in the Ozarks of southern Missouri.[1] The community was located on Missouri Route ZZ, it was next to the railroad. Carson is about two miles southeast of West Plains, Missouri.[2]

A post office named Carson was built in 1908. It was used until 1928.[3] The community has the name of Jack Carson, a businessperson in the local mining industry.[4]
