Colossal quartzite statue of Amenhotep III

The colossal statue of Amenhotep III was a fully quartzite head found at the temple of Luxor by archaeologists in 1964. When it was found, only the 1 metre tall head was found, but it is presumed that the statue could have stood up to 8 metres tall.
