Dana Biosphere Reserve

The Dana Biosphere Reserve is located in the Qadisiyah plateau in the low-lying desert area in Wadi Araba, the Dana Biosphere Reserve drops from an altitude of 1,500 metres (4,900 ft). Dana is the only nature reserve in Jordan that crosses four bio-geographical zones; Mediterranean, Iran-Turanian, Sahara-Arabian, and Sudanian penetration.
