Danny Boyle

Daniel Boyle (born 20 October 1956) is a British movie director and producer. He was born in Radcliffe, Lancashire into a working-class Irish Catholic family.

His movies include Shallow Grave, Trainspotting, A Life Less Ordinary, The Beach, 28 Days Later, Millions, 28 Weeks Later, Sunshine, Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours. Boyle was nominated for five BAFTA Awards and three Academy Awards. He directed the 2018 television series Trust based on the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III, the grandson of J. Paul Getty.
