Dimitri Kitsikis

Dimitri Kitsikis (Greek: Δημήτρης Κιτσίκης; full Christian name, Dimitrios Kitsikis, 2 June 1935 – 28 August 2021) was a Greek Turkologist and Sinologist. He was a Professor of International Relations and Geopolitics. He also published poetry in French and Greek. Kitsikis was born in Athens, Greece. He was known for talking about the impact of geography in the politics between Greece and Turkey. Some of his best known ideas were Intermediate Region, Eastern Party in Greece and Turkey and Hellenoturkism.

Kitsikis died on 28 August 2021 in Ottawa, Canada at the age of 86.[1]
