Dingko Singh

Ngangom Dingko Singh (1 January 1979 – 10 June 2021) was an Indian boxer. He won the gold medal at 1998 Asian Games in Bangkok. He was born in Manipur, India.[1] He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2013.[2] He also participated in the 2000 Summer Olympics.[3]

Singh died on 10 June 2021 from liver cancer in Manipur, aged 42.[4] He had recovered from COVID-19 before his death.[5]
