Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency

The Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) is the organisation that holds the registers of drivers and vehicles for Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales). The DVLA head office is in Swansea in Wales. They are an agency of the United Kingdom government.[1]
