Edmund Tudor, 1st Earl of Richmond (11 June 1431 – 3 November 1456) was the father of Henry VII, who invaded England and became king of England in 1485. He was the son of Owen Tudor and his mistress or wife Catherine of Valois. He was also a half-brother to Henry VI.

He was married to Lady Margaret Beaufort when she was only 13 years of age. Edmund Tudor died while fighting for the Lancaster side in the Wars of the Roses.
