Farsi1 is a Persian language satellite television channel. It was created in 2009. The channel is broadcast into Iran from Hong Kong by a company co-owned by Rupert Murdoch. Since the channel's creation, Farsi1 has become the most popular TV channel in Iran. The channel broadcasts TV series from Korea, Latin America and the United States. Its most popular series tend to be Colombian telenovelas.
