The flag of Santiago Matatlán (Spanish: Bandera de Santiago Matatlán) consists of a brown pointed field with the map of Oaxaca state that symbolizes its integration into the state of Oaxaca. In the center is the municipal shield between two purple stripes and a smaller central strip of agave green. At the top there is a legend that says Santiago Matatlán with the coat of arms of city. It was adopted in 2010.[1]
