The flag of Tekax (Spanish: Bandera de Tekax) consists of a red frame that symbolizes the shed blood of the people of Tekax, the brown color is the land and its integration into the state of Yucatán. In the center is a gold star with the name of the town of Tekax in a circular shape that represents the town and the twenty-five small stars are the surrounding towns within the municipality. It was adopted in 2010.[1]
