The flag of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) was created in 30 November 1978. The blue field represents the Pacific Ocean, while the four stars represent the states in the federation: Chuuk, Pohnpei, Kosrae and Yap.

It has a light blue field with four white five-pointed stars arranged in the diamond pattern in the center.
