Frank Philip Stella (May 12, 1936 – May 4, 2024) was an American painter, sculptor, and printmaker. He was known for his work in the areas of minimalism and post-painterly abstraction.[1] His career was set in New York City.[2]

Stella died of lymphoma at his home in New York City on May 4, 2024, at the age of 87.[3]
