Geoffrey Bayldon (7 January 1924 – 10 May 2017) was a British actor. He is known for having the lead role in Catweazle (1970–72). Bayldon declined the role of both the First and Second Doctors in the long-running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who. He was born in Leeds, West Riding of Yorkshire.

Bayldon died on 10 May 2017 in London at the age of 93.[1] His partner of many years, fellow actor Alan Rowe, predeceased him in 2000.[2]
