Geoffrey Dyson Palmer OBE (4 June 1927 – 6 November 2020) was an English actor. He was known for his roles in British television sitcoms. Palmer played Jimmy Anderson in The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, Ben Parkinson in Butterflies and Lionel Hardcastle in As Time Goes By.

Palmer was born in London, England.[1] He died at his London home on 6 November 2020, aged 93.[2]
