Gil Fates

Gil Fates (born Joseph Gilbert Fates on 29 September 1914 in Newark, New Jersey, United States; died 1 May 2000 in New York City, United States) was an American television producer. He produced many shows, like What's My Line?. Fates also hosted CBS Television Quiz, which was the first television game show to be shown often.[1] Before World War 2, he was a stage actor.
