Harold A. Linstone

Harold Adrian Linstone (June 15, 1924 – July 8, 2016) was a German-born American mathematician,[1] consultant, futurist and University Professor Emeritus of Systems Science at Portland State University and a specialist in applied mathematics. He was born in Hamburg.

Linstone was editor-in-chief of the professional journal "Technological Forecasting and Social Change", which he founded in 1969.

Linstone died on July 8, 2016 in Portland, Oregon, aged 92.
