Harris Hines

Harris Hines (September 6, 1943 – November 4, 2018) was an American judge. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the Chief Justice of the Georgia Supreme Court in the United States from 2017 to 2018. He was appointed to the Supreme Court on July 26, 1995 and re-elected by the voters of the state.[1] Hines was elected Chief Justice by his colleagues in September 2016 and he retired in August 2018.

Hines was killed in a car crash in Atlanta on November 4, 2018 at the age of 75.[2]
