Horacio Ferrer (June 2, 1933 - December 21, 2014) is a Uruguayan poet, broadcaster, reciter and tango lyricist. He is known for the lyrics he wrote for Astor Piazzolla’s tangos such as Balada para un loco and Chiquilín de Bachín.
