Howrah (or Haora) is the one of the largest cities in the Indian state of West Bengal. The city is on the Hooghly River across from its twin city of Kolkata.[1] Howrah is famous for Howrah Station, and the Howrah Bridge, which connects the two cities.[1] As of 2011, 1,077,075 people lived in Howrah.[2]
