A humid subtropical climate is a type of climate. It has hot, humid summers and warm, mild or cool winters. In the Köppen climate classification, they are split into Cfa when there is no dry season and Cwa when there are dry winters. Unlike in a tropical climate, snow and frost do occur in a humid subtropical climate.

Examples are Atlanta, Brisbane, Buenos Aires, Durban, Milan, Shanghai, and Tokyo.
