"I Don't Like Mondays" is a 1979 song by Irish new wave band The Boomtown Rats. It is the leading single from their third studio album The Fine Art of Surfacing. It went to number 1 in the United Kingdom, South Africa, Australia and Ireland, number 73 in the United States, number 3 in New Zealand, Norway and Belgium, number 4 in Canada and number 2 in Sweden and the Netherlands. It has covered live by Bon Jovi and was covered by Tori Amos for her concept album Strange Little Girls.
