Interlaken is a town and municipality in the administrative district of Interlaken-Oberhasli in the canton of Berne in Switzerland. It is an important and well-known tourist destination in the Bernese Oberland region of the Swiss Alps, and the main transport gateway to the mountains and lakes of that region.
