Jacob Söderman

Jacob-Magnus (Jacob) Söderman (born 19 March 1938) is a Finnish politician. He has been a Member of Parliament since September 2007 until 2011 (and earlier in 1972-1982). Söderman is a member of Social Democratic Party of Finland.

He was Minister of Justice (In October 1971),[1] Minister of Social Affairs and Health (1982), governor of Uusimaa Province (1982–89), Parliamentary Ombudsman of Finland (1989–95) and the first European Ombudsman (1995–2003).[2] He was born in Helsinki, Finland.
