James Aloysius "Ace" Lyons Jr. (September 28, 1927 – December 12, 2018) was an American admiral in the United States Navy. He was Commander of the United States Pacific Fleet from 1985 to 1987. He was born in New Jersey. Lyons was known for writing a column about Seth Rich, a murdered lobbyist, that was retracted by The Washington Times.[1] Lyons claimed Hillary Clinton was responsible for the killing.[1]

Lyons died on December 12, 2018 from respiratory failure in Warrenton, Virginia at the age of 91.[2]
