Kallakkurichi taluk
Kallakkurichi taluk is a taluk of Viluppuram district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The headquarters of the taluk is the town of Kallakurichi.

According to the 2011 census, the taluk of Kallakkurichi had a population of 465,236 with 234,796 males and 230,440 females. There were 981 women for every 1000 men. The taluk had a literacy rate of 63.49. Child population in the age group below 6 was 26,388 Males and 23,890 Females.[1]
