Karen Karapetyan

Karen Vilhelmi Karapetyan (born 14 August 1964) is an Armenian politician. He became the Prime Minister of Armenia in 2016 after the resignation of Hovik Abrahamyan.[1]

On 23 April 2018, Karapetyan became acting Prime Minister following the resignation of Serzh Sargsyan.[2] In May 2018, Nikol Pashinyan was elected Prime Minister.

Education

Karapetyan earned a PhD in economics in 1989.
