Karlheinz Böhm (16 March 1928 – 29 May 2014), sometimes known as Carl Boehm or Karl Boehm, was an Austrian-German actor and philanthropist.

Boehm was born in Darmstadt, Germany to Austrian composer Karl Boehm and German soprano Thea Linhard.

His career has spanned for nearly 50 years. He appeared in 45 foreign movies and over 30 blockbusters. He is best known for his role as Mark in Peeping Tom.

Boehm had seven children, including actress Katharina Boehm.

Böhm died from Alzheimer's disease at his home in Grödig, Austria, aged 86.[1]
