Khan Yunis refugee camp

Khan Yunis refugee camp is a refugee camp in the Gaza Strip. It is just west of the city with the same name. The camp was created after the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. At that time, it had about 35,000 Palestinian refugees. According to UNRWA, the camp had about 72.000 people, in 2010.[1] The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics recorded a population of 41,182 in the 2017 census.[2]
