Kumi Koda (倖田 來未, Kōda Kumi, born with the name Kumiko Kōda (神田 來未子, Kōda Kumiko) on November 13, 1982) is a Japanese pop singer from the city Kyoto who started in the year 2000 with the album Take Back. Her most well known song is Butterfly, and this song made her well known. She got Japanese record grand prix, an award. Her new album Kingdom was released on January 30, 2008, and her new single was released on January 23, 2008. Her young sister is misono who is J-pop singer.
