Lawrence Joseph Ellison (born August 17, 1944) is an American businessman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is a co-founder and the executive chairman and chief technology officer of Oracle Corporation.[3]
As of March 2019, he was listed by Forbes magazine as the fourth-richest person in the United States and as the seventh-richest in the world, with a fortune of $63.5 billion, up from $54.5 billion in 2018.[2]
