Maggie Cheung Man-yuk (simplified Chinese: 张曼玉; traditional Chinese: 張曼玉; pinyin: Zhāng Mànyù; Jyutping: Zoeng1 Maan6 Juk2; born 20 September 1964) is a Hong Kong actress.
She is known for her roles in As Tears Go By, Center Stage, Comrades: Almost a Love Story, Green Snake, The Soong Sisters, In the Mood for Love, and Clean.
In 1983, Cheung entered the Miss Hong Kong pageant and won the first runner-up and the Miss Photogenic award as well.[1] She was a semi-finalist in the Miss World pageant the same year.[2]
