Marco Borradori

Marco Borradori (6 June 1959 – 11 August 2021) was a Swiss lawyer and politician. He was born in Sorengo, Switzerland. From 2013 until his death in 2021, he was the Mayor of Lugano. He was a member of the Ticino League.[1] He was also a member of the National Council from 1991 until 1995.

Borradori was hospitalized in Lugano on 10 August 2021 after going into cardiac arrest. He died the next day of multiple organ failure, aged 62.[2]
